It’s the last week to view my painting and the other interpretations of “Local Artists, local scenes” by artists in the area. It’s a beautiful day to spend time in Middleburg and support this amazing community.
If you’re local to Middleburg, VA or up for a day trip -then you should head on into town this weekend! There is a special sidewalk sale kicking off this Friday the 5th and continuing into next week. While you’re strolling the sidewalks stop inside the gallery @theartistsinmiddleburg and check out my painting and all the local art pieces on display in this month’s exhibit.
Did I mention I will be teaching Art in a barn this year? I am planning for an epic year at my Arts Integrated school- so I hope you follow along.
I am excited to share that my painting “New Mountain Road” was accepted into a show titled ‘Local Artists, Local Scenes’ at @theartistsinmiddleburg in Middleburg, VA. You can view my piece - and other beautiful submissions- at the gallery starting this Saturday, July 23rd, from 12-5pm.
We spent all day clearing and shaping an area for a ground compost pile. We know it’s a little too close to that big oak tree but this is where we’re starting. We saved all our kitchen scraps and some brown matter for a healthy beginning but other than that WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE’RE DOING. Who wants to be our compost tutor? Teach us your ways.
You’re looking at the newest member of @tractorsupply. Less than one month ago, my family and I moved to a rural gem of a home nestled on 6 acres. Making the decision to move was scary, but we took that leap of faith. We have so much to learn as we take care of this land and listen to the lessons it offers. The neighbors we meet- the landscapes we see, the chickens we’ve (already) said goodbye to- all contribute to igniting our purpose. Cheers to embracing change!
